ABOUT THE DANCERS

ABOUT PRARTHANA BHAARADWAJ

Prarthana began her dance journey at the age of five, training in Bharatanatyam under the guidance of Guru Smt. Kripa Baskaran and Guru Smt. Deepa Reghuram at Natyarpana Dance Company in Brookfield, WI. After relocating to Atlanta at the age of nine, she continued her pursuit of the art form under the mentorship of Guru Smt. Padmaja Kelam and Guru Sri. Siddarth Kelam at Kalaivani Dance Academy.

She recently completed her senior year at FCS Innovation Academy and will begin her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia this fall, majoring in Applied Biotechnology.

​

Throughout high school, Prarthana was an active volunteer at the Wellstar Hospital System, contributing to several departments. She also participated in her school's Student Advisory Committee. Passionate about working with children, she has volunteered at art and music camps and taught at Kumon. Outside of academics and volunteering, she enjoys listening to music, exploring creative arts, and spending quality time with family and friends.

ABOUT NANDITHA BHAARADWAJ

Nanditha began her dance training at the age of five with Guru Smt. Kripa Baskaran and Guru Smt. Priya Duba at Natyarpana Dance Company in Brookfield, WI. After moving to Atlanta at the age of six, she continued her Bharatanatyam journey under the guidance of Guru Smt. Padmaja Kelam and Guru Sri. Siddarth Kelam at Kalaivani Dance Academy.

She is currently a rising sophomore at FCS Innovation Academy, where she is pursuing the Information Technology pathway with a keen interest in programming and cybersecurity.

​

Beyond academics, Nanditha enjoys playing the violin, learning Carnatic music, and playing tennis. Dedicated to service, she has been actively volunteering in her community and school since fifth grade through organizations such as Jr. Beta and the Student Advisory Committee. In her free time, she loves baking cookies and getting lost in a good book.
